Whipped Mashed Potatoes

Method

Salmon Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over the salmon fillets.

  3. 3

    Bake the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 4

    Add Lemon

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon before serving.

Whipped Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into chunks. Place them in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  3. 7

    Whip the Potatoes

Use a hand mixer or a whisk to whip the potatoes until they are light and fluffy.
