Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Soak them in a bowl of cold water for about 20 minutes, then drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté Garlic

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.

  3. 3

    Add Wine and Clams

Pour in the dry white wine and bring to a simmer. Once simmering, add the cleaned clams and cover the pot with a lid.

  4. 4

    Steam the Clams

Cook for about 5-10 minutes, or until the clams have opened. Discard any clams that remain closed.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
