Pork Belly Bites
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pork Belly
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Cut the pork belly into bite-sized cubes and season with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Sear the Pork
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork belly cubes and sear them until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic. Stir until well combined.
- 4
Combine and Bake
Pour the sauce over the seared pork belly in the skillet. Toss to coat the pork evenly. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the pork is tender and the sauce is caramelized.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and serve warm as appetizers or a main dish.
