Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes until they are browned. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 10 minutes until it reduces slightly.

  4. 4

    Finish the Dish

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for 5 minutes. Stir in the butter until melted and the sauce is smooth.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the Chicken Marsala hot, alongside steamed broccoli and whipped mashed potatoes.
