DESSERTS

  1. 1

    Prepare the Custard

In a medium saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is warm but not boiling.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together cornstarch and egg yolks until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine and Thicken

Once the milk mixture is warm, gradually pour it into the egg mixture while whisking constantly. Return the combined mixture to the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring continuously until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

  4. 4

    Chill the Custard

Remove the custard from the heat, cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface to prevent a skin from forming, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chilled.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Lobster Tails

Once the custard is chilled, take the lobster tail pastry shells and fill half of them with Nutella and the other half with the chilled custard.

  6. 6

    Serve

Arrange the filled lobster tails on a serving plate. You can dust them with powdered sugar for an elegant touch before serving.
