Cake Preparation

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool the Cake
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Apricot Glaze Preparation

Prepare Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine apricot jam and water. Heat over low heat until melted and combined, stirring frequently.

Glaze the Cake
Once the cake is completely cool, brush the apricot glaze evenly over the top and sides of the cake.
Chocolate Marzipan Preparation

Make Marzipan
In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, almond paste, cocoa powder, corn syrup, and water. Knead the mixture until it forms a smooth and pliable dough.

Shape Marzipan
Divide the marzipan into three equal parts. Roll out each part into a thin layer to cover the cake.

Decorate the Cake
Cover the glazed cake with the chocolate marzipan and smooth it out with your hands to remove any wrinkles.
