Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Fresh Orange Juice

If using fresh oranges, juice enough oranges to yield 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp for a smoother texture, if desired.

  2. 2

    Chill Ingredients

Ensure that the sparkling wine is well-chilled before serving. You can chill it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or in an ice bucket for 30 minutes.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, pour the 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Slowly add the entire bottle of chilled sparkling wine to the pitcher, gently stirring to combine without losing too much carbonation.

  2. 4

    Serve

Pour the mimosa mixture into champagne flutes or desired glassware. If using, garnish each glass with a slice of orange and a few fresh mint leaves.
