Preparation of Cheese Mixture

Grate the Cheddar Cheese
Using a grater, grate 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese and place it in a mixing bowl.

Soften the Cream Cheese
Take 8 oz of cream cheese out of the refrigerator and allow it to soften at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

Mix the Ingredients
In the mixing bowl with the cheddar cheese, add the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of mayonnaise, and the entire jar of pimentos (drained).

Add Seasonings
Sprinkle in 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, and 0.5 tsp of cayenne pepper. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Blend the Mixture
Using a spatula or a mixer, blend all the ingredients together until fully combined and creamy.
Serving

Transfer to Serving Dish
Spoon the pimento cheese mixture into a serving dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

Serve with Crackers
Open the box of crackers and arrange them around the pimento cheese dip for serving.
