Method
Prepare Biscuit Dough
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- 2
Cut in Butter
Add the unsalted butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 3
Add Milk
Pour in the milk and stir gently until the dough comes together. Be careful not to overmix; the dough should be slightly sticky.
- 4
Roll and Cut
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Gently roll it out to about 1-inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 5
Bake
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake the biscuits for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Prepare Meat Filling
- 6
Cook Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, cook the eggs to your preference (scrambled, fried, or poached). Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- 7
Warm Meat
In the same skillet, warm the cooked sausage patties and bacon strips over medium heat until heated through.
