Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Whiskey, 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth, 2 dashes of orange bitters, and 0.25 oz of simple syrup.

Stir to Chill
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish
Express the oils from a fresh orange peel by twisting it over the drink, then add the orange peel slice as garnish along with a maraschino cherry.
