Chill the Glass
Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while preparing the drink.

In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Dewar's Scotch Whisky, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to chill the mixture.

Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute the drink.

Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer or discard the ice water, and strain the mixed drink into the chilled glass.
