Salad Preparation

Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold running water. Remove any damaged leaves and pat dry with a paper towel. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

Add Parmesan and Croutons
Sprinkle the shaved parmesan cheese and croutons over the chopped romaine lettuce in the salad bowl.
Dressing Preparation

Make the Caesar Dressing
In a medium bowl, mash the anchovy fillets and minced garlic cloves together using a fork until they form a paste. Stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh lemon juice until well combined.

Emulsify the Dressing
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is well emulsified. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve

Toss the Salad
Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and croutons. Toss the salad thoroughly to ensure that all ingredients are well coated with the dressing.
