Cider Layer
Stout Layer
Method
Preparation
- 1
Chill the Ingredients
Before starting, ensure that both the Magners Cider and Guinness Stout are well chilled. This will help maintain the integrity of the layers.
- 2
Pour the Cider
In a pint glass, gently pour the Magners Cider first. Tilt the glass at a slight angle to prevent excessive frothing and fill it up to about halfway.
- 3
Layer the Stout
Using a spoon, slowly pour the Guinness Stout over the back of the spoon to create a layer on top of the cider. This technique allows the stout to float on top of the cider without mixing.
- 4
Serve
Serve immediately without stirring to keep the distinct layers visible. Enjoy your Black Velvet responsibly!
