Method

Sausages

  1. 1

    Grill the Sausages

Preheat your grill to medium-high. Brush the banger sausages with olive oil and place them on the grill. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 2

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized chunks. Place them in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add 1 tsp of salt and bring to a boil.

  2. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain the potatoes.

  3. 4

    Mash the Potatoes

Return the drained potatoes to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Peas

  1. 5

    Cook the Peas

In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the frozen peas and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

Gravy

  1. 6

    Make the Gravy

In a saucepan, heat the beef stock over medium heat. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Once the stock is simmering, add the slurry and whisk continuously until thickened. Season with salt and black pepper.
