Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Generously season the flat iron steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Garlic Herb Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine chopped parsley, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Frites Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Cut the russet potatoes into fries and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

  2. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

House Salad Preparation

  1. 7

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
