Method

Crabcake Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crabcake Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the fresh lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper. Gently fold the ingredients together until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat.

  2. 2

    Shape the Crabcakes

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. Place the shaped crabcakes on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  3. 3

    Cook the Crabcakes

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the crabcakes, cooking in batches if necessary. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve with Hollandaise

Serve the crabcakes warm, topped with your prepared hollandaise sauce. Enjoy your delicious crabcakes!
