Method
Preparing the Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This will ensure the wings cook evenly and become crispy.
- 2
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, add the chicken wings. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps achieve crispiness.
- 3
Season the Wings
Add baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl with wings. Toss well to coat the wings evenly.
- 4
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack, ensuring they aren't overcrowded.
- 5
Bake the Wings
Drizzle oil over the wings. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until wings are golden brown and crispy.
Making the Sauce
- 6
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- 7
- 8
Season the Sauce
Taste the sauce and add salt to your liking. Let it simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 9
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
