Whoopie Pie Ingredients

Method

Whoopie Pie Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

  3. 3

    Bake the Cookies

Drop tablespoonfuls of the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the tops spring back when lightly pressed. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Filling

In a medium bowl, beat together the powdered sugar and marshmallow fluff until smooth and well combined.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Whoopie Pies

Once the cookies are completely cool, spread a generous amount of the filling on the flat side of one cookie and top with another cookie, flat side down. Repeat with the remaining cookies.

  6. 6

    Serve

    Enjoy your delicious whoopie pies!
