For the Ribeye and Compound Butter

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Compound Butter

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, minced garlic, and lemon zest. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Shape and Chill the Butter

Transfer the mixed butter onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll it into a log shape and twist the ends to seal. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ribeye

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Place the steak on the grill or skillet and cook for 4-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is achieved.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the ribeye from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the compound butter into rounds and place on top of the warm ribeye steak. Serve with your choice of two sides.
