Crab Balls
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Crab Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, cajun seasoning, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Balls
Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
- 4
Fry the Crab Balls
Carefully add the crab balls to the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Remove the crab balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve warm with cajun cream sauce.
