Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Patty
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form it into a patty about 3/4-inch thick.
- 2
Cook the Patty
Heat the cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patty and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patty, add the American cheese on top, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.
- 3
Prepare the Bun
While the patty is cooking, toast the burger bun lightly on another skillet or in a toaster.
- 4
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, and top it off with pickled tomato slices. Finally, place the top half of the bun on the burger.
