Meatballs
Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Meatballs
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.
- 4
Prepare the Marinara Sauce
While the meatballs are baking, heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add your favorite marinara sauce and let it simmer.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the marinara sauce and let them simmer together for an additional 5-10 minutes. Serve hot over spaghetti or your choice of pasta.
