Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, shaking off the excess.
- 2
Sear the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced shallots and sauté for about 2 minutes until softened. Pour in the white wine and bring to a boil, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it reduce by half.
- 4
Finish the Sauce
Stir in the lemon juice, capers, and butter. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and cook for an additional minute to heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
