Cook the Apples
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Cook until the apples are tender and the mixture is bubbly, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Making the Caramel Sauce

Prepare the Caramel Sauce
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the granulated sugar until it becomes a golden brown liquid, stirring constantly. Once melted, carefully mix in the butter until fully combined. Gradually add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Assembling the Dessert

Combine and Serve
In a serving bowl, place a generous scoop of the cooked apple mixture. Drizzle with warm caramel sauce. Top with a scoop of Lappert’s Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and serve immediately.
