Beef Short Ribs

Method

Beef Short Ribs

  1. 1

    Marinate the Ribs

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, olive oil, and thyme. Add the short ribs and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Charbroil the Ribs

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Seared White Shrimp

  1. 3

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.

  2. 4

    Sear the Shrimp

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.

Chocolate Souffle

  1. 5

    Prepare the Chocolate Mixture

Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Whisk in the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

  2. 6

    Whip the Egg Whites

In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture until just combined.

  3. 7

    Bake the Souffle

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease ramekins and pour the mixture in. Bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed and set. Serve immediately.
