Tuna Preparation

Method

Prepare the Tuna

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the Ahi tuna steak and marinate for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

After marinating, heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side (or until desired doneness), then remove from heat.

  3. 3

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Prepare the Fries

  1. 4

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 5

In a bowl, combine the cut potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

  3. 6

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Serve

  1. 7

Place the seared Ahi tuna on a plate and serve alongside the crispy fries.
