Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Trim the bok choy and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Rinse the Chinese peas and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Blacken the Ahi

Rub the Ahi tuna steaks with the Cajun blackening seasoning on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned tuna and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the bok choy and Chinese peas. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender yet crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 5

    Prepare the Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley and remove from heat.

Plating

  1. 6

    Serve

Place sautéed vegetables on a plate, top with blackened Ahi, and drizzle with the soy mustard sauce and butter sauce. Enjoy!
