Peppercorn Crusted Hawaiian Ahi

Cook the Ahi
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the Ahi steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
Sweet Potato Puree

Cook the Sweet Potatoes
Peel and dice the sweet potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Blend the Puree
Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
Spicy Inamona

Prepare the Inamona
Toast the macadamia nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden. Let cool, then chop coarsely. Mix with Hawaiian sea salt, chili flakes, and chopped green onions.
