Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Fish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the fish fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides. Set aside.
- 2
Make the Crust
In a food processor, pulse the macadamia nuts until finely chopped. In a bowl, combine the chopped nuts with panko breadcrumbs. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- 3
Coat the Fish
Dip each fish fillet in the beaten eggs, then press into the macadamia-nut mixture to coat both sides. Place the coated fillets on a baking sheet.
- 4
Bake the Fish
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and drizzle over the coated fish. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- 5
Prepare the Lobster Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring until thickened. Add the lobster meat and green onions, heating through.
- 6
Serve
Place the baked fish on plates and drizzle with the lobster sauce. Enjoy!
