Pork Belly

Method

Marinate the Pork Belly

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, Ko Chu Jang, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Add the pork belly to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Cook the Pork Belly

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Pork Belly

Remove the pork belly from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until caramelized and cooked through.

  3. 5

    Rest the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork belly from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Prepare the Salad

  1. 6

    Assemble the Salad

In a bowl, combine chopped baby romaine, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, and salt. Toss gently to mix.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Slice the grilled pork belly and arrange it on a plate alongside the salad. Serve immediately.
