Meat and Vegetables

Herb Crust

3 Cheese Au Gratin Potatoes

Method

Preparation of Prime Ribeye

  1. 1

    Prepare the Herb Crust

In a small bowl, combine chopped rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a paste.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Meat

Rub the herb paste all over the prime ribeye and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

Cooking the Prime Ribeye

  1. 3

    Grill the Ribeye

Preheat the grill to high. Grill the prime ribeye for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from grill and let rest.

Cooking the Shallots and Green Beans

  1. 4

    Caramelize the Shallots

Slice shallots and sauté in a pan with butter over medium heat until caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Green Beans

Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then transfer to ice water to stop cooking. Drain and set aside.

3 Cheese Au Gratin Potatoes

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the russet potatoes thinly.

  2. 7

    Layer and Bake

In a greased baking dish, layer potatoes, heavy cream, and cheeses. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
