Grilled Salmon

Method

Citrus Ponzu

  1. 1

    Prepare the Citrus Ponzu

In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice, 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger. Whisk until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the ponzu sauce over the top. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and season with salt and black pepper. Place the fillets on the grill skin-side down. Grill for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Serve

Drizzle the remaining citrus ponzu sauce over the grilled salmon and serve immediately.
