Method

Preparing the Balsamic Reduction

  1. 1

    Make the Balsamic Reduction

In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and let cool.

Preparing the Brussels Sprouts

  1. 2

    Fry the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the Brussels sprouts, cut side down. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.

Plating

  1. 3

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving plate, arrange the fried Brussels sprouts. Top with diced Ho Farm tomatoes and drizzle the balsamic reduction over the top. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
