Method

Preparing the Baby Back Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender. Remove from the oven and brush with barbecue sauce.

  3. 3

    Finish on the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high. Grill the ribs for about 5-10 minutes on each side, basting with more barbecue sauce until caramelized.

Cooking the Seared White Shrimp

  1. 4

    Sear the Shrimp

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add shrimp, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.

  2. 5

    Add Lemon Juice

Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.

Cooking the Baby Bok Choi

  1. 6

    Sauté the Bok Choi

In a separate skillet, add water, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Add baby bok choy, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
