Misoyaki Butterfish

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together the miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, sake, and sugar until smooth.

Marinate the Fish
Place the butterfish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.

Cook the Fish
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove the fish from the marinade and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Macadamia Nut Crusted Hawaiian Fish

Prepare the Crust
In a bowl, mix the chopped macadamia nuts, panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, salt, and pepper.

Coat the Fish
Dip each fish fillet in the beaten eggs, then press into the macadamia nut mixture to coat both sides.

Season the Ahi
Rub the Ahi tuna steaks with cajun seasoning on both sides.

Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon. Serve immediately.
