Method

Dessert Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dessert Base

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Bake the Base

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely.

Ganache Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Chocolate Ganache

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Dessert

Once the dessert base has cooled, pour the ganache over the top and spread it evenly. Allow it to set for about 30 minutes.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Top the dessert with fresh raspberries and mint leaves before slicing and serving.
