Crispy Shrimp

Miyaki Soy Sauce

Method

Crispy Shrimp Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip in the beaten egg, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

    Fry the Shrimp

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Spicy Big Eye Ahi Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Spicy Ahi

In a bowl, combine the Sriracha, mayonnaise, sesame oil, and chopped green onions. Gently fold in the thinly sliced Ahi until evenly coated.

Miyaki Soy Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Stir in toasted sesame seeds and set aside.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Roll it Up

On a sushi mat, place seaweed (nori), add crispy shrimp and spicy Ahi mixture, and roll tightly. Slice into pieces and serve with Miyaki soy sauce.
