Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Ribeye

Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Whipped Potatoes

  1. 2

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the russet potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Garden Vegetables

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add sliced carrots, green beans, and zucchini. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Buttery Cabernet Sauce

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add chopped shallots and sauté until translucent. Pour in the Cabernet Sauvignon and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until thickened, about 10-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
