Preparation Instructions
- 1
Bake the Potatoes
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Scrub the potatoes under cold water and dry them. Pierce each potato with a fork several times to allow steam to escape during baking. Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until they are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork.
- 2
Prepare the Toppings
While the potatoes are baking, prepare your toppings. Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into bits. Chop the green onions and set aside.
- 3
Assemble the Q-Baked Potatoes
Once the potatoes are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Cut a slit down the center of each potato and gently squeeze the ends to open them up. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to each potato, then season with salt and black pepper to taste. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, and chopped green onions.
- 4
Serve
Serve the Q-Baked Potatoes hot, with additional toppings on the side if desired.
