Prepare the Fries
Cook the frozen French fries according to package instructions until crispy. Set aside.

Prepare the Fish
In a shallow dish, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.

Fry the Fish
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the coated fish fillets in the skillet. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Sandwich
On each burger bun, layer lettuce, a piece of fried fish, a slice of tomato, and a generous amount of tartar sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the crispy fish sandwiches with a side of French fries.
