Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Cook the frozen French fries according to package instructions until crispy. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Fish

In a shallow dish, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.

  3. 3

    Coat the Fish

Dip each fish fillet first into the egg mixture, then into the flour-cornmeal mixture, ensuring they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Fry the Fish

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the coated fish fillets in the skillet. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

On each burger bun, layer lettuce, a piece of fried fish, a slice of tomato, and a generous amount of tartar sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the crispy fish sandwiches with a side of French fries.
