Oceanaire Cheeseburger Ingredients

Method

Oceanaire Cheeseburger Directions

1

Caramelize the Onions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Slice the onion thinly and add it to the skillet. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2

Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3

Prepare the Burger Patties

Form the ground beef into two equal patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

4

Grill or Pan-Fry the Patties

In the skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

5

Assemble the Cheeseburger

Toast the burger buns lightly. On the bottom bun, layer the lettuce, the cooked patty with cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon. Drizzle with Louie dressing and top with the other half of the bun.

6

Serve with Fries

Serve the burger with a side of fries.
