Prepare Lentils
Rinse the black lentils under cold water and drain.

Stir in the cumin and smoked paprika, cooking for another minute.

Pour in the vegetable broth and add the rinsed black lentils. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

Simmer for 25-30 minutes until the lentils are tender. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Spread the pumpkin on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.

Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with additional salt if needed.

Pat the red snapper fillets dry with a paper towel, then season with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
