Main Ingredients

Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for about 6-8 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.

  3. 5

    Check for Doneness

After 6-8 minutes, carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has reached an internal temperature of 145°F.

  4. 6

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with additional fresh dill or lemon wedges.
