Preparing the Garlic Butter

Make the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix softened unsalted butter with minced garlic cloves, chopped fresh parsley, and salt. Stir until well combined. Set aside.
Cooking the Frites

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and cut the Russet potatoes into thin strips to make fries. Rinse them in cold water to remove excess starch and pat dry with paper towels.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potatoes in batches to the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt immediately.
Cooking the Steak

Season the Steak
Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Cook the Steak
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ribeye steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
