Mojito Ingredients

Method

Mojito Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Muddle the Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press and twist the mint leaves with the sugar. This releases the mint's essential oils and helps dissolve the sugar.

  2. 2

    Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice directly into the glass over the muddled mint and sugar. You can also add the lime halves into the glass for extra flavor.

  3. 3

    Pour in the Rum

Add the white rum to the glass, mixing it with the mint, sugar, and lime juice to combine all flavors.

  4. 4

    Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes up to the rim.

  5. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice, filling the glass to the top. Use a spoon to gently stir the mixture to combine.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Garnish your mojito with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of lime on the rim of the glass.

  7. 7

    Serve

Enjoy your refreshing mojito immediately while it’s cold and fizzy!
