Method

Turkey Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, approximately ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Herb Caper Mayo Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix the Mayo

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped parsley, chopped capers, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Stir until well mixed and set aside.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

Spread a generous amount of herb caper mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Place a turkey patty on top, followed by arugula, sliced tomato, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
