Grilled Cheese

Method

Grilled Cheese

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Take 4 slices of bread and lay them on a clean surface.

  2. 2

    Add Cheese

Place 1 slice of cheddar cheese on 2 of the bread slices.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Top the cheese with the other 2 slices of bread, creating 2 sandwiches.

  4. 4

    Butter the Bread

Spread butter on the outside of both sandwiches.

  5. 5

    Grill the Sandwiches

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  6. 6

    Cut and Serve

Once grilled, remove from the skillet, cut each sandwich into triangles, and serve warm.

Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the large potatoes and cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 8

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.

  3. 9

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  4. 10

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy, turning halfway through.

  5. 11

    Serve the Fries

Once baked, remove from the oven and serve hot alongside the grilled cheese triangles.
