Chipotle Orange Cocktail Sauce

Preparing the Shrimp

Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). This will give the shrimp a nice smoky flavor.

Season the Shrimp
In a mixing bowl, combine the peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.

Smoke the Shrimp
Place the seasoned shrimp on the smoker rack. Smoke for about 30-35 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. Make sure to keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
Making the Chipotle Orange Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix the ketchup, fresh orange juice, minced chipotle peppers, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.

Adjust Seasoning
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with additional salt if needed. If you prefer more heat, add more minced chipotle peppers.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Once the shrimp are done smoking, remove them from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes.

Serve the smoked shrimp chilled or at room temperature with the chipotle orange cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
