Main Ingredients

Method

Cooking the Lobster and Sides

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the new potatoes and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Steam or Grill the Lobster

If steaming, fill a large pot with about 2 inches of water and bring it to a boil. Place the lobsters in a steamer basket and cover. Steam for about 10-12 minutes, or until the shells turn bright red. If grilling, preheat the grill to medium heat, split the lobsters in half lengthwise, brush with melted butter, and grill for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.

  3. 3

    Cook the Corn

While the lobster is cooking, bring another pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender. Remove and let cool slightly before shucking.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the lobster in the shell with melted butter, cooked new potatoes, and sweet corn. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before enjoying.
