    Prepare the Sausage

    In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the linguica sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the sausage and set aside.

    Sauté Vegetables

    In the same pot, add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

    Add Broth and Tomatoes

    Stir in the canned diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.

    Cook Seafood

    Add the mussels, clams, smoked salmon, and the cooked sausage back into the pot. Cover and simmer until the mussels and clams open, about 5-7 minutes.

    Season and Serve

    Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
